Cooperation with Happy Nest School
This week, Xenion Education, as part of its international relations with other schools around the world, has hosted representatives from Happy Nest School from Kiev, Ukraine.
Ms Xenia Phylactou, Xenion Junior School & Xenion Institute Director as well as other members of the Management have welcomed Ms Yaroslava Dib. founder and CEO of Happy Nest School, Ms Marichka Novikova, School Director, Ms Iryna Prokopcuk and Ms Alina Panchenko, School English teachers. Happy Nest School is a nursery and Junior School in Kiev, Ukraine. This is the second school in Ukraine with which Xenion Education cooperates.
During the visit, the team had the chance to exchange knowledge, experience and expertise for a series of important issues regarding education. More specifically, they have discussed and exchanged ideas about innovative teaching methods such as co-operative learning and learning through research as well as about a skill-oriented educational process, which includes the development of basic skills for children such as critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork and creativity.
The Ukrainian representatives and good friends of Xenion Education have experienced and observed lessons at Xenion Junior School and have also visited various places and attractions of our area and Cyprus.
Xenion Education is looking forward to a creative and fruitful cooperation with Happy Nest School!
Αυτή την εβδομάδα, το Xenion Education, στο πλαίσιο της συνεργασίας που έχει με άλλα σχολεία σε όλο τον κόσμο, φιλοξένησε εκπροσώπους του Happy Nest School από το Κίεβο της Ουκρανίας.
Η κ. Ξένια Φυλακτού, Διευθύντρια του Xenion Junior School & Xenion Institute καθώς και άλλα μέλη της διεύθυνσης, υποδέχτηκαν την κ. Yaroslava Dib, ιδρύτρια και διευθύνων σύμβουλος του Happy Nest School, την κ. Marichka Novikova, διευθύντρια του σχολείου τις κ. Iryna Prokopcuk και κ. Alina Panchenko, καθηγήτριες Αγγλικών. Το Happy Nest School είναι παιδικός σταθμός και δημοτικό σχολείο και βρίσκεται στο Κίεβο της Ουκρανίας. Αυτό είναι το δεύτερο σχολείο με το οποίο συνεργάζεται το Xenion Education.
Κατά την διάρκεια της επίσκεψής τους, είχαν την ευκαιρία να ανταλλάξουν γνώσεις, εμπειρίες και ιδέες για πολλά σημαντικά ζητήματα σχετικά με την εκπαίδευση. Συγκεκριμένα, συζήτησαν και αντάλλαξαν ιδέες σχετικά με καινοτόμες μεθόδους διδασκαλίας, όπως η συνεργατική μάθηση και η μάθηση μέσω έρευνας, καθώς και για εκπαίδευση προσανατολισμένη στις δεξιότητες των μαθητών, η οποία περιλαμβάνει την ανάπτυξη βασικών δεξιοτήτων, όπως η κριτική σκέψη, το ομαδικό πνεύμα και η δημιουργικότητα.
Οι Ουκρανές εκπρόσωποι του Happy Nest School και πλέον καλές φίλες του Xenion Education παρακολούθησαν μαθήματα στο Xenion Junior School και επισκέφθηκαν επίσης διάφορα μέρη και αξιοθέατα της περιοχής μας και της Κύπρου.
