BEST STEM SCHOOL IN EUROPE 2026
We are incredibly proud to announce that our team achieved 1st place, earning the title of Best STEM School in Europe 2026 — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects their hard work, creativity, and dedication.
From 22–25 April, our team proudly represented Cyprus at the European Sci-Tech Challenge 2026, organised by JA Europe and ExxonMobil Europe, after winning the national finals organised by JA Cyprus and ExxonMobil Cyprus.
Our journey began with a visit to the ExxonMobil offices in Belgium, where students explored real-world applications of science and technology, including innovative plastic recycling processes and behind-the-scenes laboratory work. This experience set the stage for the competition, where they were challenged to develop and present a solution to a real-world problem.
The following day, the team delivered their final pitch at the European Parliament in Brussels — an unforgettable experience in a truly inspiring setting.
Beyond the competition, students also had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Brussels, experiencing its culture, history, and vibrant atmosphere.
