On Thursday, November 14, 2019, the Xenion High School Student Council organised 'Hairstyling Charity Event'. Professional hairdressers offered their services by offering a free haircut to students.

Also, Years 1 to 7 students have combing and braiding girls. Also, members of the Student Council sold lemonade and popcorn in the school yard. The event's revenue was €2143 and students decided to donate it to charity related to cancer.

It must be highlighted that the event took place for the first time in 2014, when students had decided to shave their heads in support of a classmate of them, who had cancer and had lost his hair as a result of the treatment. Their initiative was supported by more than 100 High School students from all school years.

Since then, the event has been a great success each year and has been embraced by volunteer hairdressers.

Xenion Education would like to thank Adamos Zartilas, Andreas Kaxishis, Maria Vassiliou, Panagiotis Vassiliou, Tasos Pashis, Damianos Kappelidis, Ioanna Demosthenous, Christoforos Elioutriou, Giorgos Eliakiriou, Giorgos Siakritou for offering their voluntary services as hairdressers/hairstylists during the event.

Warm thanks to Politia FM 106.7 and especially to radio producers Andrea Zambas and Costas Herodotou for organising a Live Link at the school during the event.
